Service Description

BillMyLandlord uses artificial intelligence to analyze tenant-landlord disputes, assess the tenant's legal position under NYC housing law, and generate draft documents (emails, letters, demand letters, and action plans). All generated documents are drafts that the user must review, customize, verify, and personalize before use.

Your Responsibilities

  • Review all generated documents carefully before sending or using them
  • Verify all facts, dates, names, and legal citations in generated documents
  • Fill in all placeholder fields before sending any document
  • Provide accurate and truthful information about your situation
  • Do not upload documents containing SSN, bank account numbers, or other sensitive personal identifiers
  • Consult a licensed attorney for legal advice specific to your situation

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Our analysis and documents are generated by artificial intelligence. While we take steps to ensure accuracy — including grounding our analysis in verified NYC housing statutes and providing confidence indicators — AI-generated content may contain errors. Legal citations should be independently verified. We display confidence levels and identify facts we relied on so you can assess the reliability of our analysis.

Limitation of Liability

BillMyLandlord is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legal sufficiency of any analysis or document. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BillMyLandlord and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on any information or documents provided.

Payments & Refunds

Payments are one-time charges processed securely through Stripe. All sales are final. However, if you experience a technical error that prevents delivery of your report, contact us for a full refund. Refund requests for quality concerns will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@billmylandlord.com for refund requests.

Acceptable Use

You may not use BillMyLandlord to generate fraudulent documents, misrepresent facts, harass any person, or for any illegal purpose. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
